Hi,

We are currently testing Secure Lockdown - Multi application on our Windows 10 tablet. We need it to lock the user to a custom Modern UI app  and a Win32 application. Everything works perfectly well except that we can open other apps using the windows search button in the taskbar and even have the list of all apps if we click the "hamburger" button in the upper left corner of the start screen and then swipe up.

Is this a normal behaviour ? We are using build 2.00.145

thanks,
Hugo

Before locking down the system, "Hide" the Search button from the Taskbar (right-click on the Taskbar and choose "Search", then select "Hide")

Hi, thanks for the fast response. I just found that because Windows started automatically in tablet mode, this setting wasn't working, but now that it start in desktop mode it's working.

But I'm still able to access all applications by opening the start menu (which is the full screen start menu, but it did the same in the normal menu), clicking on the hamburger button in the upper left corner and swipe up in the opened empty space where apps normally are.

Thanks for the help.

Please download and install the latest release of Secure Lockdown - Multi Application Edition (2.00.146). The Cortana/Search button in the Taskbar is now disabled in Desktop and Tablet Mode.

I confirm the search button is fixed in tablet mode. I'll wait for your feedback for the issue with the swipe up.

Thank you very much for your very fast response.

The best method to handle this is uninstall the apps you don't want available. Here is an article on how to do this:
