Silent printing?

I have a licensed version of Chrome lockdown and trying to get it to silent print from the instructions in the Admin Guide.

I have added --kiosk --kioskprint to the CustomSwitches Reg String, but it still prompts to print.


Has anyone succeed in making Chrome silent print when locked down?

Please try the switch "--kiosk-printing".

to confirm, I'm adding it as a REG_DWORD?

Actually, no. It's a "String" value (REG_SZ). The Guide is not clear on this.

Still not working and I uninstalled, cleared the registry of Inteset settings and reinstalled.

--kiosk-printing works in chrome when I'm not running Secure Lockdown, and the only thing I can see that is different from what you have said is that you are running SecureLockdown_v2_MA and I am running SecureLockdown_v2_CM

Please be sure that the Chrome Lockdown > General Options > No Printing option is disabled. Also, the Chrome Lockdown > General Options > No Downloads option may need to be disabled as well as the document needs to be downloaded before being printed.

I have unchecked everything in the system and browser settings and it still will not silent print.
