Hardware buttons on the tablet don't work

Hello,

We are experiencing and issue with buttons on Panasonic Toughpad. It has a a couple of hardware buttons (volume and 2 custom buttons) that stop working when No Desktop is enabled. I think it's because No Desktop is preventing explorer.exe from running. When No Desktop is disabled the buttons work properly but the task bar is seen and auto-hiding it is not good enough for us.

What should be done about it?

Alex.

Yes, the Panasonic probably requires the Desktop. Is the System Lockdown > Local Level > No Taskbar option selected?

I'm using the Standard edition version 2.00.164 and there is no such option Local Level -> No Taskbar. If it exists it would make the work done.

By default that setting is always selected in Standard Edition. Sometimes, the Taskbar will display for a short time during login. Is this what you're referring to? Otherwise, it should not be available. Note that even though it displays, the items normally in the Start menu will be unavailable.

Ok, I understand. The problem is that as you said, the taskbar appears for a second or so in the beginning and it's enough time to push on Start and open other programs if No Desktop is disabled.
