IE white list not working

I am running SL MA edition V2.00.172 on Windows 10 Pro 64 bit V1607. In my IE lockdown | Allowed Sites I have only one entry: https://at.govt.nz. Enable is ticked.
However, when I run IE 11, I can go to any website I like. It does not restrict me to the one on the white list.

What am I doing wrong?

Oh! So my only options are:
- downgrade to Windows 7 so that white listing will work with IE (doable, but a PITA!)
- remain on Windows 10 and use Chrome as the browser. If I do this, and do not want to use Chrome kiosk mode, but instead run it maximised, how do I turn off the Chrome new tab button, the tab, the close tab X, the URL address bar etc. (like you can in Internet Explorer)?

It is not possible to remove those features with Chrome. What some customers do is run Chrome in kiosk mode and create their own navigation bar within their website

Thanks. I am testing the Win 7 option. It seems to be mostly OK. I have some questions.
- the device is being used without a keyboard/mouse so we are relying on touch screen for any input. When you input via touch, and the Win 7 on-screen keyboard pops up, it has a Tools option on it. Is there a way of removing that?
- when browsing with IE11 and you click on a link that is not on the white list, a 'Content Advisor' error box pops up to say you are not permitted (or have been blocked - can't remember the exact message). Other times a slightly different error message box pops up. This is good to know that you have been blocked, but it would be better if no error box popped up at all so that it appears to the user that nothing has happened at all except they cannot go to that URL. Is there a way to stop the error boxes from popping up?

Secure Lockdown does not have a way to remove the "Tools" option from the Windows 7 on-screen keyboard. There are other 3rd Party keyboard options that may interest you such as Hot Virtual Keyboard.

IE white listing uses the Content Advisor feature to black pages. The functionality exhibited is not modifiable by Secure Lockdown.

Ok. Do you know of any third party utility/browser add-on that could suppress those Content Advisor popups?

There is not a utility that we know of that will do what you're looking for.

Going forward, will there be a time when Inteset whitelist function WILL work in Win10/IE11. Are you working on putting this functionality back in?

We haveve invested many hours in researching other methods to make it work for IE under Windows 10, but without success. IE is deemed an EOL product by Microsoft and its popularity and use is very small at this point, thus we've decided not to continue research in a solution. Many customers continue to use Windows 7 if they need the IE whitelisting feature.
