We did investigate this option, however, many companies use the Windows built-in proxy server. Secure Lockdown would not be able to hijack those settings in those cases. This does not prevent you from using this method. It does work.

Most interesting. In our case we are doing this on public kiosks and we should be OK changing the proxy details. Our customer's current preferred lockdown solution is Inteset, so we are keen to pursue this. However, we have tried this method as outlined in the above website link and we could not get it to work in a Windows 10/IE11 environment. We would greatly appreciate any help and advice you could give us in using this technique. We would probably want to whitelist to about 6 URLS

If you do the above, you could also install IIS on the system and create an elegant response page that would appear if the user whet to a non-whitelisted URL. This would be the default page of IIS (127.0.0.1).
