'Restrictions in effect on this computer' errors with Secure Lockdown Multi-App

Hello there,

We've been using Secure Lockdown Multi-App on a few computers all logged in with the same user. After exporting/importing the settings for the Secure Lockdown, they are all the same.

We have a select few machines that once Secure Lockdown is active, upon entering Internet Explorer and clicking a link/button pops up the error 'Restrictions in effect on this computer...'. No issues with this error when using Chrome or when Secure Lockdown is disabled and entering Internet Explorer.

Could anyone give any light upon this issue as we want to use Internet Explorer with Secure Lockdown, due to it's more precise lockdown effects than Chrome.

Thanks in Advance!

Chrome and IE lockdown features are totally separate in terms of what Secure Lockdown does for each program. There is an IE Lockdown setting that is causing this popup. You'll need to disable each IE lockdown settings until you find the one causing the issue.

I'm more questioning of why would it only affect some machines? When they all have the same settings via Secure Lockdown, and with that it's unclear which settings that have been enabled that would cause this issue.

You will need to analyse the different configuration of the computers beyond Secure Lockdown. It would still be helpful to find the issue by determining which Secure Lockdown setting is causing the popup message. Then, you'll have an idea where to go from there.
