Simplest way to allow log-off and shutdown

With Inteset running on Win10, the start bar is completely hidden and apps run full screen.  With no attached keyboard how can the user initiate a log-off or shutdown?  Is there a way to add a locked-down (custom) start bar with just shortcut links that can be customized for log-off and shutdown functionality?

Using the Windows 10 Touch Keyboard, you can press the Ctrl+Alt+Del key sequence whereby a "Sign out" option will be available.

Using the On-Screen Keyboard (osk.exe), when I press the Ctrl, Alt, and Del buttons I get a message "To use the commands available when you press Ctrl+Alt+Del, click you user tile and choose an option."

The user tile is not being shown since the start bar is completely hidden.  So I am not sure how to proceed.  The alternate Windows Touch keyboard does not show the alt and delete buttons to initiate that sequence.

Use the Windows Touch Keyboard instead of the osk.exe. Be sure the Windows Settings > Devices > Typing > Touch Keyboard > Add the standard keyboard layout as a touch keyboard option is enabled. Then you'll have access to a full keyboard and be able to press the CTRL+ALT+DEL key sequence.

I have enabled the 'add the standard keyboard layout as a touch keyboard' option.  When viewing the full keyboard layout on the Windows Touch Keyboard, I press the Ctrl, Alt, Del buttons but nothing happens.

Is there something else that needs to be enabled for that to be processed to get to user log off screen?  Alternatively, is there a command-line call for initiating the ctrl+alt+del sequence?

Do you have that option disabled in Secure Lockdown (System Lockdown > Machine Level > No CTRL+ALT+DEL)?

I do not have that option enabled under Machine Level settings.  I tested both while running Inteset and without Inteset so it seems a Win10 level restriction to not process the Ctrl+Alt+Del sequence from the touch keyboard.

You can use the System Lockdown > Log off /Restart > Log off after X inactivity setting, or, if you press the Alt+Shft+S to call the Secure Lockdown utility, there will be a "Log off" button in the Help tab. The log off button will appear if the System Lockdown > Local Level > No Log off option is disabled.

Thanks for your help on this issue.  Sounds like in order to use Inteset while also providing ability for user to log off/shutdown on demand an external keyboard is pretty much required.

Can you use the log off button in the Secure Lockdown Help tab? It won't allow someone to disable Secure Lockdown if you have a password assigned.
