Disabling Secure Lockdown does not complete

Hi, I am trialing the Version 2 and still in the process of configuring our Kiosk.
We are running Windows 7 Professional SP1 and using Firefox as our main app. Everything works fine when the trial is activated. However when I uncheck the Enable Secure Lockdown and hit apply, Secure Lockdown throws the following error:
"Unable to apply Lockdown settings. Registry key has subkeys and recursive removes are not supported by this method."

Once I click on ok, Windows goes to a blank desktop, with now task bar being accessible.
I can press the windows key at that point, but the entire panel there is blank with the exception of Computer and Logoff.
When I logoff and sign on again we are at the same point - ie blank panels. at this point I cannot invoke Secure Lockdown.

Luckily I can logoff and sign on as an alternate (also administrative user) to perform tasks. The alternate account is not affected.

When I reboot, the autologon to the kiosk user account works and the trial dialog as well as Firefox start up.
Once I click on trial it works in lockdown mode again.

While not a critical thing, it is not a pretty thing. Any way to improve that behavior?

I'm having the same problem. Same error message as above when trying to disable. Would be purchasing many copies of this if it worked correctly, but I'm unable to disable it.

Is there at least a way to remove the software from an account other than the one it was installed on as a workaround to disable it?

It would be nice to be able to disable it if needed without having to reformat!

We have been able to reproduce this error and will have a fix for it in the next release which will be out in a few days. We'll update this thread once the new software is available.

Is there a fix for this?  I *just* downloaded the latest version and now have a machine that will not operate after disabling Secure Lockdown.

Can you be more specific? Are you receiving any errors? Are you able to envoke the Secure Lockdown configuration screen by pressing ALT-SHIFT-S? Please be sure you are logged in as the same user that enabled Secure Lockdown.

After I disabled the solution by hitting alt-shift-s it asked me to restart.  Upon restarting I am now sitting at an empty shell with no access to any applications.  I'm also not able to start Secure Lockdown by pressing alt-shift-s as well.

This was the trial version on Windows 7 - 64 bit.

Did you have any anti-virus software running that could have blocked SL from performaing any functions? Did you have "Run as Shell" checked? Did you notice any errors at any point?
