Can't type on virtual keyboard on Windows 10 CU

I'm using Windows 10 with the Creators Update and, when in secure lockdown mode using a laptop with a touchscreen, I can't type anything in the virtual keyboard that pops up when I touch an input field in Chrome (nor with the physical keyboard on the laptop I'm testing with). The system has been set to tablet mode. I've tried adding the registry key "IgnorePhysicalKeyboardCheck" as mentioned in another post here, but that didn't help. I don't particularly care about the physical keyboard when I'm testing in tablet mode, but the virtual keyboard has to work. Despite most keys not working on the physical keyboard, the Alt+Shift+S combo still works to bring up the configuration panel.

I'm in trial mode and haven't disabled the UAC prompting, btw. The virtual keyboard does accept input of a kind - i.e. it does allow me to switch between keyboard types.

Any suggestions?

Be sure System Lockdown > Local Level > No Desktop is unchecked. Also, be sure you've downloaded the latest release of Secure Lockdown from our website (Build 2.00.176)

I'm using the latest version - just downloaded it on Friday. Also, the "No Desktop" option _is_ unchecked.

I tried running SL while not being in tablet mode, but the keyboard still won't function. Additionally, Secure Lockdown seems to have made it impossible to set a default browser in the OS (this was a brand new Windows install, btw). When I try to set Chrome as the default, in the Windows settings panel, I choose it, but it doesn't get set. Consequently, when in Secure Lockdown mode, Chrome displays a notice at the top about it not being the default browser.

Secure Lockdown does not interfere with Windows Default Browser settings. It's unclear what's causing the behavior being experienced. We've not had prior reports of this. Are you using a keyboard local other than English?

No, the system is set to a US locale with a US keyboard. I'm updating Windows now to see if the keyboard/default browser problem is resolved by that - it turns out it's running the original version of Windows 10 rather than the latest Creators Update.

Any update on this? I am unable to get Inteset for Chrome to load into Chrome and also allow the virtual keyboard.

I have the computer in tablet mode and everything seems to be working correctly until I enable lockdown.
