How to block Chrome's shortcut navigation

Hi,

I'm evaluating Secure Lockdown Chrome Edition in kiosk mode for a web application. My app is a single paged WEB application for videoconferencing.
However, I've noticed that the user can navigate with keyboard shortcuts ALT + left( right arrows). As my app is single paged, doing ALT + left arrow (old Backspace) returns the user to the new tab page showing all recent sites and favorite options... This happens even when the browsing is restricted to a single website via Secure Lockdown.

Actually i use the plugin "new tab redirect". But i would like this blocked by Secure Lockdown. How it is possible to achieve this.

If i could suggest also to add a and option for setting default page to Chrome Kiosk rather than configure it within the browser.

Thanks,
Arthur

If Chrome is launched directly to your single page, the back (ALT+Left Arrow) will not do anything. Will this work for your setup?

As far i understand, when using the Chrome Edition, Chrome is launched automatically in kiosk Mode (when activated), so the only way to open my app, is via chrome's options .. start pages. So yes, i think it should directly start opening the app's page.

Yes, that's correct. So the Alt+Left Arrow, shouldn't do anything because there is no page to go back to.

OK, in fact, ALT + arrow does nothing. But i got confused with the keyboard having the 'FN' switch which converts the button arrow to HOME. Actually i was sending ALT + Home, sorry... However this is another problem. Sending ALT + Home gets to Chrome's default page..

So may i ask again my question: can we block this?

I found the solution, i had to set the default page value for both tabs and home.

Thanks

You can make the Chrome Home page the same page as your Startup page. Under Chrome Settings, click on "Show the Home Page button", then "change..."
