Google Chrome  76.0.3809.100 (Official version) (32-bit) (cohort: Stable)
Version    ed9d447d30203dc5069e540f05079e493fc1c132-refs/branch-heads/3809@{#990}
Operating system  Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (Build 7601)
JavaScript  V8 7.6.303.29, Flash  32.0.0.223, .NET Framework 4.8, User is local admin

Register entry "Default" for chrome is correct:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths\chrome.exe
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe"

But starting IntesetSecureLockdownV2.exe (2.00.203): gives an error:
"The Chrome browser is not installed on this computer."

Nothing seems to help. Do you have any solution?

We have another 2 machines with fresh installations (touch displays) affected:

- one is win7pro, 32bit, sp1
(Secure Lockdown version 2.00.211)
- another is win10pro, 64bit, 1809
(Secure Lockdown version 2.00.203)

"The Chrome browser is not installed on this computer."

.... so, this is getting silly. Is there some bug I'm not aware of?

Is Secure Lockdown installed on a local Windows admin account? If not, it needs to be.

Yes, Secure Lockdown was installed on a local admin account.

All of the minimum system requirements, as per user guide are met on all 3 machines.

The problem lies within a corrupted Windows user profile (SID access token / access to registry keys).
The simplest solution - create a new user and assign it to the administrators group.

Secure Lockdown should now start.
