My application can call on Windows 10 File Manager (c:\Windows/Explorer.exe) to add files or to save files. How can I allow File Manager to work?

I have added it as a Background App, but File Manager will not work. I get an error message.

Thank you.

I am having the same problem.
I call explorer.exe from app: Process.Start("explorer.exe", configPath)
Get an error: "Restrictions" This operation has been canceled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. ..."

Adding Windows\explorer.exe to Background Apps doesn't help.

also...
Disabling the "Local Level" option "No Local Drives" did not help either.
Same Restrictions message.

Download and install the latest release of Secure Lockdown (2.00.184). Perform the configuration instructions in the Administrator Guide under the Hidden Features > Enable Windows Explorer section.

Hi,

I am trying to enable access to Windows Explorer to allow for transferring files from removable media to the D:\ drive.  I do not see the Enable Windows Explorer section in the administrator guide.

I am receiving the following error message:  Windows cannot find 'shell::::{52205fd8-5dfb-447d-801a-d0b52f2e83e1}': Make sure you typed the name correct, and then try again.

Be sure that the System Lockdown > General > No Desktop option is disabled.

That option is disabled and I am still receiving the error message.

The "Enable Explorer Command Bar" and "Enable Explorer Navigation Pane" options are on page 6 of the Administrator Guide.
