Option to reset chrome/return to homepage

We are using Secure Lockdown Chrome Edition
Our application is running Chrome in Kiosk mode
Every now and then someone will click on a link that sends the browser to another page of the application and there is no way to click back.
Is it possible to have a shortcut or hotkey to return chrome to the homepage?

Alt + Home will return the user to the homepage.

I would like this feature also, as we use them in tablet mode so that is not an option

If the keyboard is set to full keyboard mode, you'll be able to provide the Alt+Home keystroke to return to the home page.

No its not I am afraid, would it possible to make an extension that could do something?

Are you using the Windows 10 keyboard? If so, you can set it to full-keyboard mode which has the alt and home keys.
