Keyboard popup for touch applications

Got the trial and everything is working great.  We are building kiosks that will be placed in national store chains using Windows 7 tablets.  Was hoping the software would disable or remove the popup keyboard that appears when user swipes left side of screen or taps in a textbox.  Is this a Windows configuration or do we just have to live with users trying to use the built in popup keyboard?

You should be able to disable the tablets popup keyboard feature. That is a function of Windows 7 Tablet Edition. Try googling "disable windows 7 tablet keyboard"... See this post as well "http://superuser.com/questions/75426/how-can-i-completely-disable-tablet-functions-in-windows-7"

Awesome that worked.  Here's the detailed instructions for turning off the keyboard popup.

1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.

2. Click Uninstall Programs.

3. In the left pane, click Turn Windows Features On Or Off.

4. Clear the Tablet PC Optional Components check box.

5. Click OK.

6.  When prompted, click Restart Now and let your computer restart.

Then I used the instructions in your link to disable the swipe navigation features and I'm set!!!
