Windows 8 Touch Screen No Keyboard

On using Windows 8 with Secure lockdown
I cant launch the keyboard at all,  no task nar at bottom to select and it doesn't pop
up when I select fields in app?


any idea?

its like its tied down too much (bit like when you disable desktop in windows 7)

In Windows 8, by default, the Desktop is disabled (due to "Metro UI" complexities). THis has not been tested, but you should be able to launch the virtual keyboard using the Windows Registry "Run" key. (osk.exe)
