Win 8 Tablet screen wake issues

We are testing this software to deploy out in the field on Win 8 tablets and have run into a snag. If we enable the Turn off screen (sleep) option in power management while the table is in Secure Lockdown, none of the buttons on the table will bring the tablet back awake. Is there a registry setting or something we can use to re-enable the tablet's 'Windows' button to wake the tablet back up? This is a show stopper at this point.

Thanks,
Danny

Is this a Windows 8 Pro Tablet? Does the unit need to be configure for Sleep mode? Have you tried "Hibernate" instead, that should work.

Just a follow up FYI. Seems the issue was with the network card setting for allowing the OS to turn it off to save battery. If you keep it on, then for some reason you can't wake it from hibernation/sleep. If you keep it at the default, then everything works as expected.

Thanks.
