Secure Lockdown and Remote Desktop

I have Secure Lockdown installed on a remote pc running Windows 7. When I connect to it via Remote Desktop and enable the lockdown, the taskbar and Start button go black, leaving me unable to select Log Off or Disconnect to end the remote session.
In the Customizations I have everything checked except Disable Desktop.
Is this the expected behavior?

The task bar and logoff (via the Start Menau) options are not available when Secure Lockdown is Enabled. You can log off by envoking the Secure Lockdown tool, then entering the password. Then, go to the About tab and select the "Log off" button. To log off via the Ctrl+Alt+Del screen, you can uncheck the "No Log off/Shutdown" option under the Customizations/System tab in the Secure Lockdown tool.
