Key not working

Hello,
I have recently had to re-activate my copy of Windows due to a hardware configuration. After re-activating windows my Inteset is saying I am -1 day past the trial copy and my product key that I enter has been activated too many times and I must first deactivate another machine until I can activate this one. I only have it on 2 machines this one and another one. Which is what the license is for (2 machines). Please help.
