Windows Updates do not apply/system doesn't restart

Hi,

We are applying the following GPO settings to all machines across our agency related to windows updates:

The machines locked down with inteset do not restart in the 2-day deadline automatically.

Settings in inteset are set to allow windows updates to apply.

Is there some sort of exe we need to whitelist to allow it to reboot the system?

Please supply the associated Windows Registry Settings responsible for the Windows Update Schedule you are using. We will see if there is a conflict.

Attached is the link of WSUS settings we are using, as well as their corresponding registry keys per MS's GPO document:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/19sIWtOCfQvre5dLOilytNyTY-kKL81KN/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=105874157422717450241&rtpof=true&sd=true

the automatic reboots that should be happening with the "Specify deadlines for automatic updates and restarts" policy and they basically do not restart. Trying to force a restart from the tray popup also results in no restart. It attempts one, but doesnt actually work, updates do not fully install (it rolls back). This isn't for just one system, its for every Inteset system we have deployed.

if you'd like a copy of my inteset config to test it against, let me know where I can email it to

It's been 2 months, should I start looking for a new solution?

One solution is to use the Secure Lockdown command line capability to disable Secure Lockdown during the scheduled update time, then re-enable it when the updates have completed. See the Secure Lockdown Administrator Guide for command line syntax.
