Chrome will not open

Hello,

I’ve already put this in via the web form.

We are trying to lock down an MS Surface so that only Chrome with a website is up and running on full screen.
We installed the standard version, and this worked for about a week.

After a reboot, we get a Windows picture of a bird on the desktop but no Chrome.
Could a Windows update have broken that?

Please assist.
Thanks,

It is likely this is due to a Windows Update that corrupted the Secure Lockdown configuration. Please see this form topic to recover.

This does not apply. Alt-Shift-S is working.

Then to recover, you should only need to disable and re-enable Secure Lockdown. If this does not resolve the issue, then there is some other Windows configuration that is causing the problem.
