various issues

I take it that the Standard Secure Lockdown Product will work on a 32 bit XP system?

I've had various issues this morning.

Firstly after I enabled it Ctrl+Shift+S did nothing ... basically bricked the PC in effect.

I had to unplug the machine from the mains and log it on as another User to get to the Secure Lockdown Console.

I wasn't able to get back into it after I entered my settings, complaining that the password was wrong... crashing out and wanting to send a Report to MS .. etc etc .. nothing in the Event Log.

Hope someone can help.

All seems a lot better on a Windows 7 machine.

the only issue I have it that I get the Start screen sometimes when it loads (is that because its a Trial).

.. and I can't seem to make the windows logon/welcome screen go away.

Any thoughts ..?

Does the XP system have SP3 installed as well as the .Net 3.5 framework? If not, this can cause crashes.

Yes, only the trial version has the Splash Screen.

XP query no longer relevant, please see above.

Its the logon/welcome screen problem I am more concerned with right now.

Thanks
