I am using Inteset on a table top multi-touch touchscreen system. Sometimes users will lean over the touchtable and place their hand on the bottom edge of the screen. When this happens the entire screen locks up. It will start working again if the hand is removed.
I have duplicated this on other, smaller touchscreens by placing my thumb across the lower edge. It only happens at the lower edge, the side and upper edges don't cause any problems.
It is almost as if the lower edge gives focus to the desktop, but I am not sure.
I am running a WPF program on Windows 7 machines.
I see the problem consistently. I see it when Inteset is running and when it is not. I was hoping that using Inteset would prevent the problem by always keeping the wpf program active and in focus.
Any thoughts?
