Blocked site recovery in kiosk mode and settings export

Dear tech support,

I have just installed Secure Lockdown v2 Chrome Edition on a an Intel Nuc running Windows7 and installed the chrome browser as part of the latest Adobe Reader install.

We are planning on using this program with a 32” touch screen to allow visitors to our centre to explore the http://ausis.edu.au Seismic Schools web site.

Two problems:

1.  If the visitor clicks on one of the many links to another domain the site is blocked, as it should, but the user cannot return.   I have enabled the software to restart Chrome after 1 minute of inactivity but it is likely that the eager visitors will touch the screen and thus prevent the exhibit from recovering. (Also return to home page after 1minute option did not seem to work.)  From the forum post #1845 I gather the only solution may be to disable kiosk mode and allow the address bar to be visible.  Is there any other way that the user could recover from a block link with just the touch screen?
2.  As per forum posts #1006 and #2038 it is possible to export/import the settings for backup.  Could you provide the latest instructions for this?  A simple export feature would be useful for inclusion with forum questions.

Regards

Inteset is currently working on a permanent solution for the "Webpage Blocked" issue where a user cannot return to the previous page. One option to alleviate this issue is to use a popular Chrome extension called "AdBlock Plus" that removes all ads from the web pages. In order to use the "AdBlock Plus" extension, you must add the following URL to the Secure Lockdown Allowed Sites list:

"chrome-extension://gighmmpiobklfepjocnamgkkbiglidom"

To copy Secure Lockdown settings from one computer to another, please request the Secure Lockdown Administrator Guide from techsupport@inteset.com.
