I am using Inteset Secure Lockdown v2 on windows 7pro, duo core laptops with 2gb of memory..The problem we are having is the main application that we are opening with the lockdown is chrome..its set to open up to a web based log in portal for an electronic medical records system....the issue is, when they click a drop down menu, it switches to a solid black page and opens up a little menu in the top left corner of the screen..also normally you click a calendar and it opens a floating calendar, with the lockdown it opens it in a full page that they can not close because we have taken away the X button in kiosk mode. also since its in kiosk mode, when they click on a portal button, it opens another tab, and that is fine until they need to return to the prior tab...there is no way to go back...please help!!

Is this a public website we can test?

No its not a public site but I could give you a remote session with me and let you see? or I can email screen shots of how it should look and how it does look with the lockdown enabled?

Or, I could fix a log in just for you and let you go that route? but I would rather not put the info out in the open if possible?

The best\quickest way to troubleshoot this issue is to reproduce it in our lab. Please email techsupport@inteset.com and let us know the login credentials. We will test it promptly.

Have you had a chance to see if you could replicate and repair my issue in your lab?

Please try unchecking the "Chrome Lockdown > Layout Options > No Chrome Menus" option. This feature may be disrupting your webpage functionality.

If you're using Chrome for a kiosk application, you should be using Secure Lockdown - Chrome Edition. However, the behaviour you're mentioning is odd since Secure Lockdown - Standard Edition doesn't manipulate Chrome. If the "System Lockdown > Local Level > No Desktop" option is enabled, please try disabling it. Regarding the "...when they click on a portal button, it opens another tab..." issue, Inteset is developing a Chrome Extension that will prevent this problem. We will be publishing it on the Chrome Extensions Store next week. It is called "Inteset Chrome Kiosk Helper".
