I have setup a Windows 7 desktop as a internet only browser machine dedicated to one website which is locked in kiosk mode. I am trying to stop patrons from using the machine to open new windows by clicking on icons embedded within the page.  Any suggestions on how to stop browser from opening a new window.

There is a 'No New Windows' option you can select under the IE Lockdown > General Options section.

Are you saying this option is within internet Explorer or an Inteset option?

It's a Secure Lockdown option.

Another issue I am having with the Secured Lockdown - IE is I add multiple sited for "Allowed sites", ensure that Enable is checked, and I Enable Lockdown.  Once the workstation reboots I can access a couple of sites.  The moment I select a hyperlink that is not in the "allowed" list I get the "this site is restricted...contact administrator" message.  That is fine but I am not able to access any of the allowed sites at this point.  Please advise on how to resolve this issue.  Also, is there a contact number to speak with tech support instead of waiting 24 hours.  I need to resolve this issue ASAP.  Thanks!

Are you using Secure Lockdown - Chrome Edition? Based on your description, it sounds like you're using Chrome, not IE. If so, please see the section in the User's Guide regarding "Kiosk Helper Chrome Extension." This Chrome extension will do what you need.

Please go to"Help > Export / Import" and export your Secure Lockdown settings file. Then email it to techsupport@inteset.com.

Please provide a specific non-whitelisted link (URL) on the site that results in the unwanted behavior?
