We are using Secure Lockdown on our Windows 8.1 kiosks. We are  getting  this error  message  on the system logs. It maybe causing out presentation layer  to  restart.

The description for Event ID 1030 from source Secure Lockdown cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

The following information was included with the event:

The Master Process Id was not found, but the process (SignagePlayer) is running (1). The Master Process ID was reset to the last process found. (Process ID: 3928)

Can you please advise.

Sorry for the delayed response. This post was missed...

The first part of the error sounds like you may not have Windows Event Logging enabled on your computer which Secure Lockdown relies on. The second issue generally is caused because your master process is started by a launching application and not the actual application that should be monitored. If this is the can, please populate the "Process Name" field under the Secure Lockdown > Master Application tab to indicate the process name that should be monitored. Secure Lockdown will then check for that process instead of the launching app's process name.
