Running an application in the background

I would like to run a FTP client application in the background and scheduled tasks in the background.

It is recommended you use the Windows Task Manager for that purpose (which will function while Secure Lockdown is enabled).

Thank you I did figure that out but it didn't run the first time I tried but everything is working now.
