Secure Lockdown IEE and Keybaord helper toggle button

I have the keyboard toggle button showing on a locked down IE page, but it won't launch the keyboard when touched. It is set up to run as a background App.

Also on Windows 8 table (Surface pro) how can we use the Internet Explorer (New User Interface--win 8 version) instead of the desktop version as the default IE application?

Thank you,

You no not have to set it up under the Secure Lockdown Background tab. Use the "Run on Windows login" option in the Keyboard Helper configuration instead. Also, Use the "Windows Tablet PC Input Panel" keyboard type.

I have it set to run on Windows login. So I need to take it off of background app?

When I change it to Tablet PC Input panel--nothing pops up at all. I can't even see what that one looks like.

Do I need to allow Ease of Access to have a keyboard pop up?

Also when I do click on the keyboard I get the dialogue/setting box for the keyboard helper instead of the keyboard sometimes.

You shouldn't need Ease of Access to be on... This is odd behavior. Please forward your Secure Lockdown Settings file to techsupport@inteset.com (can be generated from the Help > Export / Import tab).
