Chrome Secure Lockdown - how to turn attach to wireless display with Windows 8.1 tablet

We are using Windows 8.1 Pro  8" tablets in Chrome Secure Lockdown mode.  We have white listed some specific pages that are stored on the local hard drive, so have disabled the wireless adapter, and have turned off Windows updates so Windows does not keep popping up on the screen with messages.  (When we tried Secure Lockdown MultiApplication, we could not seem to get Windows out of the way from impinging on our pages).

But one feature of Windows that we would like to use is the abilty to use miracasting to a wireless display (using the Netgear Push2TV3000 device).  To do this, we have to have the wireless turned on, and go to the display settings (either through the charms bar / devices, or with the Windows Key and the "P" key.

If we have the wireless turned on but not attached to any wireless access point, is there a way to attach to a wireless display, without leaving the Chrome Browser, and without having a virtual keyboard lurking around some corner of the screen being obtrusive?

Our version of the lockdown software is about a year old (v118?)

Sorry for the delayed response. This post was missed... If you upgrade to both Windows 10, and the latest release of Secure Lockdown - Chrome Edition, you will be able to use CTRL+ALT+DEL to get to the Wireless settings of Windows 10.

Well, so now it has been a few months since my original post, and we have upgraded the Chrome Secure Lockdown software to the latest version, and the Tablets we are getting are only available in Windows 10.  We are using them in Kiosk mode, where it displays full screen into the Web pages we want, but it appears that now a new problem has arisen.

We have previously enabled a Chrome flag to inhibit the Pinch-to-Zoom feature, so the user will always see the web page in full.  It appears that starting around version 50 of Chrome, that flag was taken away, though we are able accomplish the same thing using a command line option in the Target field of the properties of a shortcut.

So now the question is, can we do a Chrome Kiosk option and have it start using the shortcut?  Or is there some other way to turn off pinch to zoom, other than finding an older version of Chrome to install?  The only other solution that I can think of is to clone the older tablets which are running Windows 8.1, and activate the secure lockdown after the image is applied.

Yes, you can add command-line parameters to execute when Chrome launches. Please see the "Hidden Secure Lockdown Features > Chrome Custom Command Line Switch" section in the Administrator Guide for more information.
